CURRENT MEMBERS
Carrie-Anne Murphy (sax, flute, vocals - frontperson) created Bad Credit No Credit so that she could take over the world with her legendary ego. Prior to this endeavor, she performed, produced, and wrote for Thespian Separatist Productions in Austin, Texas and performed with members of I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness. In NYC, she works as a chef and consultant, volunteers for Showpaper, co-created and organized the Human Party Virus Festival, and occasionally curates shows for venues such as Shea Stadium. She moonlights with other bands (e.g. The Gennies, Lady Magma) and on every dillion-and-a-halfth full moon performs pieces from her almost-unlistenable solo project, Clapperclaw. She has been rumored to ghost-write for pop sensation Sundae Fantastique.
Bore of the wilds of Western New York, Multi-instrumentalist/producer Andrew Russell Thomas (bass, pots n pans, sound engineering - January 2009 - present; "Hey, Rube!" EP and Dirty Sanchoagie Tour 2009) holds down the low-end in BCNC. He works at a post-production facility in Manhattan, and also operates the Andrew Russell Thomas Studios for the Advancement of Sound at The Bruce High Quality Foundation Studios, in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn. The space also serves to house the boisterous cavorting of BCNC rehearsals. Andrew also performs inherently self indulgent solo noise/electronic sets, but at least he isn't a DJ. He has provided sound design for dance and theater groups including the aforementioned BHQF's production Cats-on-Broadway. Many moons past, he interned at legendary Tarbox Road Studios in Fredonia NY, also assisting producer Bill Racine.
Alison McQueen (clarinet, flute - August, 2009 - present) was raised by a community of socialist bikers. She believes everything sounds better on vinyl, and she has been playing flute, clarinet, and sax for several years.
Born into serfdom in eastern Lithuania, Abe Walker (trombone) spent his early years toiling on a rutabaga plantation alongside his 9 siblings. His body weary and his spirit broken, Walker fled to America, where he found gainful employment with a traveling circus sideshow. After a near-fatal encounter with an elephant, he retired from the circus and lived off his pension. Today he spends his time as a man of letters, abandoning his study only for the occassional brisk walk through the park. Notoriously reclusive, Walker is believed to reside somewhere on the eastern seaboard. His likeness was last spotted in 1994 in a Comfort Inn lobby. http://www.myspace.com/ theladrones http://www.rudemechanicalorchestra.org/
